Dear Mr. Hamilton,

1, Des Voeux Road,

Hongkong, 20th. July, 1918.

I have carefully considered the letter of

"Wireless" and have also discussed it with other gentlemen in the office and we are all of opinion it distinctly constitutes a libel and is not open to the defence of fair comment as it is a statement of fact. We think you should have no difficulty in succeeding in any proceedings and I doubt me very much if any newspaper would attempt to defend it but as to this I can only express an opinion.

Yours faithfully,

ISD. H. W. Looker.
